Hello Polymaths,

Are you looking for a cheap but beautiful looking lamp holders then, this DIY project is for you!

Using the old glass bottles you can make modern looking lamp holders on your own with just few steps. Making use of these old bottles will also help the nature as your are recycling them.

You just need to know how to cut the glasses perfectly and that's all, now you can make candle and lamp holders, flower vases and many more.

Here I am sharing some of my favorite DIYs

1.  Whisky bottle lamp holder

The materials that you will need are a Square glass bottle and a bulb. Insert the power line through the bottle cap and fit the bulb to the holder. Now you might be thinking how to insert the bulb....to do that you need to cut the top portion of the bottle. Don't worry there is no need of any tools to cut the bottle. You can cut it very easily. Watch the video below to know how to cut the bottle without breaking it!

2. Desktop Planters

Just like the first one cut the bottles then pour some water in the bottom and keep the plant on the top. The water will keep the plant fresh and healthy.

3. Cement-Glass Flower Vase

For this one you don't have to cut them. Just apply some cement or concrete based on what texture you want on the end product and then let it dry. Just sand the surface, if you want a smooth surface.
This DIY doesn't require any tools or paint the cement itself gives an contemporary look to it.

Using glass bottles we can make an add an modern look to our home at very low cost. There are lots of ideas to choose from..
